A Two-Day Course for Beauty Therapists Qualified To Level III, BTEC HND or Foundation Degree Level And For Nurses / Doctors / Dentists and Dental Hygienists seeking Entry Experience in Skin Regeneration Treatments

The increase in popularity of cosmetic treatments in recent years has transformed the non-surgical cosmetic market into a multi-million pound industry and has given people more choices before considering cosmetic surgery.

While the administration of dermal fillers, botulinum toxin and deep skin peels are widely recognised as being the preserve of medical practitioners such as doctors, dentists and nurses, there is a wide array of other lighter but effective treatments available to highly-trained Beauty Therapists to meet the demand for skin regeneration treatments.

This 2-day practical course aims...

• To provide practitioners with a high level of knowledge in the issues of skin science, the physiology of skin dysfunction, the correction of skin disorders and the maintenance of skin health
  
  
• To provide practical training for the administration of a range of skin corrective treatments to increase client choice and grow salon/clinic sales. This includes Derma Roller (skin needling), Chemical Skin Peeling and Mesotherapy

• To provide an in-depth knowledge of the physiological process of skin ageing and the influences on its progression
  
  
• To recognise of the signs of ageing, age-related skin disorders and diseases
  
  
• To generate an understanding of the nature of skin regeneration treatments in relation to the natural healing process
  
  
• To develop knowledge of modern anti-ageing treatments and technologies
  
  
• To give specific underpinning knowledge in the application and benefits of Derma Rolling (skin needling), Chemical Skin Peeling, Laser / IPL, Microdermabrasion and Mesotherapy
  
  
• To provide practical training in Derma Rolling (skin needling), Chemical Skin Peeling and Mesotherapy (Non-Injectable)

At the end of the course you will be able to demonstrate:

• A clear understanding of the process of skin ageing and the factors which influence its progression

In a career spanning 30 years, Sally Durant has established a reputation for excellence both in her knowledge and understanding of all issues pertaining to skin health and in the provision of quality education and training within the aesthetic profession.

With extensive experience in both the clinical environment and in the formal education arena Sally now acts as a consultant and trainer for a number of high profile aesthetic companies. She is also engaged on advisory panels for curriculum development in both state and private education establishments and brings a commitment to building the standards and breadth of knowledge within the skin care industry.

In a variety of services Sally offers the opportunity for post graduate training in advanced subject knowledge and practices to enable all involved in the industry to develop, progress and maintain the highest standards within their profession.

Sally is currently an acting member of the CIBTAC Education Council and is appointed to the advisory panel for higher education development at Worcester College in affiliation with The University of Worcester.
