About Us

Innomed Training was established in 2006 by a team of professionals with real experience in aesthetic treatments, clinic operation, training, customer service and the supply chain of the aesthetic industry.

Together, our team combines a wealth of knowledge that can support you and help you develop your aesthetics business.

One of the concerns we sought to address was that there was a lack of independent skill-based training. We felt that there was a great deal of sales-led training available that existed only to "push products" of a particular company or brand without looking at a more holistic and skills-based approach.

We wanted to provide courses that gave delegates the skills to use for example any hyaluronic acid dermal filler but did not simply promote one brand. Similarly, with botulinum toxin training, we enable delegates to learn the skills to use all the available brands; BOTOX®, Vistabel®, Dysport®, Xeomin®.

We therefore enable you to make a choice depending on your preferences and circumstances.

Where a treatment has, by its very nature, to be more brand-specific, we do try to make the course as generic as possible before focusing on the treatment protocols that are specific to that brand. For example; our Chemical Peeling Systems course consists of generic training in the theory, treatment history and background of peels as well as; skin anatomy, patient selection, contraindications and indications etc. Only after this generic part of the course do we then focus on particular brands that our medical advisory team suggest are ideal for you as a new user of peels to safely and easily widen your clinic's portfolio.

In 2008, Innomed Training was short-listed in the finals of the Aesthetic Medicine Awards in the 'Best Training Course' category. In 2009 we WON this award, beating a large number of other training providers – some much larger than us, showing that big is not always best!

This achievement recognised the quality of our courses and, our entry included a number of testimonials from doctors, dentists and medical nurses who have attended our courses and who not only supported our entry but who were also happy to recommend us to others.

Medical Adviser and TrainerLocations: London & Southampton

Dr Elisabeth Dancey is one of UK's most established aesthetic doctors. She has spent the last 10 years of her medical career working, researching and pursuing new techniques in the field of aesthetic medicine, rather than surgical intervention for the maintenance of health, beauty and vitality.

Her experience in continental Europe's sophisticated approach to health and beauty has allowed her to introduce techniques previously not available in the UK. Dr Dancey helped to introduce the concept of aesthetic medicine to the UK and proved the fact that conditions such as "cellulite" and "heavy legs" were medical disorders and could be treated by medical means. This opened up the medicalisation of the beauty world. Her book, "The Cellulite Solution" was published in 1996 by Hodder & Stoughton. Her video "Beautiful legs and how to achieve them" was released in June 1998. Dr Dancey has received regular, genuine, unsolicited press coverage since her arrival in London and has an ongoing dialogue with beauty writers in the industry.
